Myofunctional
Therapy

Beautiful Smile

What Is Myofunctional Therapy?

Myofunctional therapy is a specialized, non-invasive approach that addresses how the muscles of the mouth, face, and tongue function at rest and during daily activities like breathing, swallowing, and speaking.

When oral muscles aren’t working properly, it can contribute to:

  • Mouth breathing

  • Poor sleep quality

  • Snoring or airway issues

Myofunctional therapy helps retrain these patterns at the root level, rather than just managing symptoms.

  • Tongue tie–related challenges

  • Speech, feeding, or swallowing concerns

  • Jaw tension, clenching, or grinding

I help families breathe better, sleep better, and feel better by addressing oral function at the root.

Helping babies, children, and adults improve breathing, sleep,

and overall health through myofunctional therapy.

Esther Greenberg, a myofunctional therapist and certified sleep consultant.

DOES THIS SOUND LIKE YOU OR YOUR CHILD?

  • You or your child mouth breathe day or night

  • Sleep feels restless, light, or unrefreshing

  • Snoring, grinding, clenching, or open-mouth posture is present

  • A tongue tie was diagnosed — or suspected

  • You’ve tried other therapies but something still feels “off”

  • You want answers, not another band-aid solution

The Problem Is You Already Tried:

  • Physical therapy

  • Speech or feeding therapy

  • Sleep training

  • ENT or orthodontic visits

  • “Wait and see” recommendations

But when the oral muscles and breathing patterns aren’t addressed, symptoms often persist.

Breathing, sleep, and function are deeply connected... and ignoring one piece can stall progress.

Imagine if…

✨ Breathing through the nose feels natural
✨ Sleep becomes deeper and more restorative
✨ Your child’s mouth stays closed at rest
✨ Tongue posture supports healthy growth and airway function
✨ You finally feel confident you’re addressing the root cause

HOW IT WORKS

Step 1: Let’s Connect with a Free 15-minute Consultation or Call

I begin with a complimentary call to make sure I'm a good fit for you and your family.

During this call, we’ll:

  • Talk through what’s been challenging

  • Review symptoms and concerns

  • Decide together if myofunctional therapy is the right next step

Step 2: Comprehensive Myofunctional Evaluation

60-Minute 1:1 Evaluation | $295–$350

If we move forward, we start with a thorough evaluation designed to look at the whole picture,                        not just one symptom. This includes:

  • Comprehensive intake and medical history review

  • Oral function assessment (tongue, lips, swallow, posture)

  • Breathing and airway evaluation (mouth breathing, snoring, habits)

  • Oral muscle function and tongue posture assessment

If you choose to continue, therapy begins right away, including initial exercises and guidance.

Step 3: Ongoing Personalized Therapy & Support

30-Minute Follow-Up Sessions | $95–$150

After signing up for therapy, we begin ongoing, personalized myofunctional therapy tailored to                       you or your child.  Therapy includes:

  • Guided myofunctional exercises

  • Breathing support to encourage healthy nasal breathing

  • Regular follow-up sessions to monitor progress

  • Adjustments as function improves over time

  • Collaboration recommendations when appropriate (ENT, orthodontist, speech therapist)

Follow-up frequency is individualized and based on progress and goals.

Step 4: Experience Real, Lasting Improvement

With consistency and support, many families begin to notice:

  • Easier nasal breathing

  • Improved sleep quality

  • Reduced mouth breathing and compensatory patterns

  • Stronger oral rest posture

  • Greater confidence knowing the root cause is being addressed

Progress is gradual, meaningful, and designed to support long-term function.
